A new 3D-printed ‘invisible’ superyacht is set to change the face of luxury sailing as we know it.
The 88-metre Pegasus concept with reflective ‘solar wings’ is the world’s first 3D-printed solar-electric superyacht. Conceived on a beach in Koufonissi island, Greece, the sleek, stylish superyacht has zero emissions and virtually unlimited range.
Italian designer Jozeph Forakis says his team was inspired to create a yacht as close to the sea and nature as possible.
“Now is the time for courageous leaps toward our collective sustainable future. “Pegasus is a bold but achievable vision for the near future of the superyacht industry, where man and machine live in harmony with nature rather than competing or compromising it.”
