The largest hotel operator in Australia and New Zealand, Accor, announced changes to the senior operations leadership team. The change will bring increased expertise and focus to Accor’s operations across Australia, New Zealand, French Polynesia and Fiji.

Scott Boyes has been appointed Senior Vice President of Hotel Operations at Pacific North.

Responsible for hotels under management agreements in the newly designated Pacific North Region, Boyes will oversee New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, and Northern Territory. Boyes will lead operations for Accor’s Premium, Midscale, and Economy hotels north of the Pacific. With 28 years of experience in Accor’s operations, Boyes’ hospitality career began with The Rest Hotel at Milsons Point.

Adrian Williams has been appointed Senior Vice President of Hotel operations at Pacific South.

Williams will operate regions Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and French Polynesia; responsible for Accor’s Premium, Midscale, and Economy hotels. Since beginning his career at Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Canada, Williams has 30 years of hotel operations and senior leadership experience. With a Master’s in Marketing, Williams has a long history of active board participation in various industry operations.

Danesh Bamji has been appointed Vice President of Franchise, Pacific.

Bamji will leverage Accor’s brand, marketing, sales, customer engagement, and digital and loyalty strategies. To optimise their hotel’s revenue performance and profitability for franchisees, Bamji will work on delivering the developed Accor’s systems, tools, and resources. Focusing on supporting franchise owners, Bamji will lead a team to accomplish excellent performance and operational distinction in their hotels.

Marcus Hanna has been appointed Vice President of Operations Pacific, Sofitel, MGallery, and Emblem.

With over 18 years of experience in Accor, Hanna will support these luxury hotels in the Pacific region. Following extensive experience in Australia, London, Malta, San Francisco, and Singapore, Hanna moves into this position after his leadership role as Managing Director for Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford.
