Proenza Schouler launched on Monday a spring/summer 2023 campaign, featuring models Kendall Jenner and Selena Forrest, as well as the musician Arca.
The duo behind the brand, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, bring their personal touches to the campaign: the sensuous and fiery qualities of Lazaro’s Latin roots coupled with the pragmatism and grit of Jack’s American experience, according to a press release.
The campaign, shot by Davit Giorgadze and styled by Camilla Nickerson, showcases a collection comprised of tactile textures including elasticated terry tweed, glossy techno leather, molded lace, and metallic hand crochet.
Knitwear is also showcased with fringes elements, while ruffles are used to add volume in unexpected places. In terms of colors, they punch through the collection in bright acidic tones and are tempered by graphic uses of black and white.
The campaign also introduces the Bar Bag, a new style for the brand which will be sold in a large style that can be carried as a tote or folded over into a clutch, and a small style which can be worn crossbody.
