The new Princess F65 is the flagship of the British builder’s F Class of flybridge motor yachts, joining the F45, F50 and F55. The exterior features an extended knife-edge hull window and an accented colour styling blade.

The yacht is fitted with twin MAN V8 engines, with 1,000mhp, 1,200mhp or 1,300mhp options, while gyro and vector fin stabilisation, and increased fuel capacity are among options. Both the flybridge and main deck helm stations feature Raymarine navigation systems, with additional control stations in the aft cockpit offering a convenient option for docking.

The enormous flybridge features three social areas to starboard, starting with a large sunpad aft, an angular C-shaped sofa with a folding dining table and storage, plus a smaller sofa forward, which can convert to an additional sunbed.

To port is the twin-seat helm station, while aft is a newly designed wet bar equipped with electric barbecue, coolbox and waste bin, with the option of a Lava Brick barbecue and ice maker. An optional electrically operated awning can be specified with the optional hard top.

The interior includes panoramic windows and a generous saloon, while the F65 takes cues from the Y72, such as the cockpit seamlessly connecting to the main saloon via a sliding patio door. There’s a hinge-up window above the aft galley bar top to further connect the cockpit to the interior.

The interior starts with a well-equipped, open-plan galley and a foldable dining table to starboard. Moving forward and up a step, the saloon features a C-shaped sofa to port and an angled sofa to starboard. The helm station has a pantograph door to the starboard side deck, while to port, a raised forward L-shaped sofa offers companion seating.

The foredeck is a new design for an F Class model and has a large C-shaped sofa facing twin sunbeds, with an optional teak coffee table, cool box and sun awning.

The lower deck accommodates eight guests across four cabins including a full-beam, midships master stateroom with an en-suite bathroom, which combines with the walk-in wardrobe to occupy a full-beam space between the bedroom and engine room.

An en-suite VIP cabin in the bow and guest cabins either side of the stairs complete the accommodation. An optional crew/occasional cabin with the option of a double berth and dedicated access via the transom platform is also available.

The Princess F65 debuted at the Southampton International Boat Show last September and is among the British builder’s display at Boot Dusseldorf from January 21-29.
