Last weekend, Blackpink took on the largest indoor arena in the world to perform their biggest hits.
Blackpink has been on their Born Pink World Tour since 2022. On March 25 and 26, the awaited Philippine leg of the tour finally happened.
The members played two sold out shows at one of the largest venues the country has to offer. Before the concert, Blinks (Blackpink’s fanbase) already showed their appreciation for the girls with various projects such as mascots and flying banners.

Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa opened with hits such as “How You Like That,” “Whistle,” and “Lovesick Girls.”
Filipino Blinks went all out with their deafening cheers which definitely energized the girls. As they took in the sound and the sight, Rosé took Lisa’s hand and asked if she could feel her heart racing.
“I must say, you guys are really getting us excited! You guys are crazy,” Rosé said.
“One thing I’m really loving about Manila is that I’m actually seeing people really jump and dance and sing along to our songs,” Jennie added. “It makes us very happy, so keep going with whatever you’re doing!”
The show continued with songs like “Kill This Love,” “Playing With Fire,” and “Pink Venom.” During the third act, each member took the stage to perform their own solos.
Jisoo performed a cover of Camila Cabello’s “Liar” while Jennie treated fans to her unreleased song, “You & Me.”
Rosé and Lisa both performed shortened versions of two of their solo songs—“Hard to Love” and “On the Ground” for Rosé then “Lalisa” and “Money” for Lisa.
Blinks were especially excited to see the new songs performed live, like their latest single “Shut Down.”
On the first night, Jennie requested for their fans to greet her dog Kuma a “happy birthday” and of course Blinks were ready to sing their hearts out.
The next night, it was only a few hours before Lisa’s birthday when a cake gifted by her fans was brought on the stage.
The multi-tiered masterpiece featured a cake topper inspired by Lisa’s VMA win, an acrylic layer that lit up with the words “Greatest of all time,” and fondant versions of the idol’s pets. The bottom layer was a money cake with photos, artworks, and details of the fanbase’s charity projects.
As the members posed for a final photo with Blinks, everyone began chanting for “Boombayah,” one of Blackpink’s first singles. The girls performed it as a treat and even changed the lyrics to include the birthday girl’s name.
The night ended with energies still high. It’ll surely be a memory that will live on in both the fans’ and members’ minds.
