While the members are busy working on solo projects, Suga is the first one to announce his own world tour.

BTS announced their hiatus late last year with plans to regroup in 2025. Fans have been eagerly waiting to see what each of them will be up to in the meantime.

Suga just revealed his upcoming world tour as the clock struck midnight on February 15, South Korea time.

His tour dates run from April to June, with more dates to come. Starting in Belmont Park, New York, the rapper will be hitting up five cities during the U.S. leg of the tour.

He’s also set to play in Jakarta, Bangkok, Singapore, and Seoul while Japan dates will be updated later on.

On the tour poster, fans also noticed that Suga’s other stage name, Agust D, makes an appearance.

The name Agust D comes from the initials of his birthplace, Daegu Town, and “Suga” spelled backwards.

Back in 2016, Suga released a mixtape under this alter ego on SoundCloud, completely for free. He’s already been writing his own music at the age of 13 and was active as an underground rapper before signing up with BigHit Entertainment.

His solo endeavors allowed him to explore his hip-hop background and more deeply personal lyrics. He exposes his vulnerability by writing about his contemplations on fame, depression, social phobia, and dreams.

In 2020, he released his second mixtape D-2 with the lead single “Daechwita” which debuted at number 11 on the Billboard 200, the highest of any Korean solo artist at that time.

While Suga hasn’t released new solo music since the boy group’s hiatus, he’s been busy producing songs for other artists.

One of his latest projects was a collaboration with Psy. “That That,” written and produced by the pair, was the lead single for Psy’s eighth studio album.

As the first BTS member to embark on a solo world tour, Suga is already expected to break records. Better grab those tickets while you still can!
