Hyundai made a big splash at the Singapore Motorshow 2023 by unveiling the first made-in-Singapore limited edition IONIQ 5 First 100 vehicle. This Singapore-exclusive line of cars was produced at the Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center in Singapore (HMGICS) and combines innovative concept car designs with high performance, environmentally friendly materials, and an array of smart tech. Some of the features include Hyundai’s proprietary Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) platform, ultra-fast charging, and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capabilities.
The IONIQ 5 has been recognized as a vehicle of choice in the international arena, winning globally recognized awards such as World Car of the Year 2022, World Electric Vehicle of the Year 2022, World Car Design of the Year 2022, 2022 German Car of the Year, and 2022 UK Car of the Year.
To celebrate this milestone, Hyundai has launched a charity auction – the IONIQ 5 First 100 Charity Auction – that features 100 units of this car. All proceeds will be donated to the President’s Challenge, a key national charity campaign. The car is available only to Singapore drivers and will come in the shade Gravity Gold Matte, with Dark Pebble Grey interiors. It will also feature debossed seats for refined detail.
The IONIQ 5 goes on sale today, retailing from S$147,800 (excluding COE and VRN). This is a limited-time offer, so don’t miss your chance to own one of these exclusive vehicles. The charity auction for the IONIQ 5 First 100 vehicles began at 2.30 pm on the first day of the Singapore Motorshow and will remain open until January 19th, 6 pm or until VRNs run out.
