The Japanese writer makes his literary comeback.
Haruki Murakami will release a new book on April 13. This will mark his first novel in six years.

Japan-based publisher Shinchosa announced the news on February 1. It has yet to release details on the upcoming novel’s plot and title.
Shinchosa revealed that it will initially publish the book in Japanese, with translations to follow at an unspecified date.
The book spanning “1,200 Japanese manuscript pages long” will cost 2,970 yen.
Murakami’s notable works include Norwegian Wood, The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle, Kafka on the Shore, After Dark, and 1Q84.
The best-selling Japanese author previously released his latest novel, Killing Commendatore, in 2017.
