5 Minute Bok Choy: Ingredients
- Bok Choy
Garlic
Chillies - Ginger
- Onions
- Soy Sauce
- Green Onions
Slice up the onions, red chillies (leave the seeds in!), garlic and ginger.
Heat a large pan to a medium heat and add some sunflower or olive oil. Fry off the onions for about 1 minute, until they start to soften.
Add in the chillies, ginger and garlic and keep them stirred for a further 2 minutes.
Make sure to have washed the bok choy before adding!
Place it into the pan. It will wilt quickly and shouldn’t take more than 2 minutes to cook.
Add a small amount of soy sauce…
Pop a lid on the pan for the last minute of cooking, so that the vegetables absorb all those lovely flavours from the steam.
Slice up the green onions as thin as you possibly can and add them to the pan.
Serve the dish immediately while still piping hot.
This 5 minute bok choy recipe will quickly become a staple recipe for a tasty veggie dish.
