Korean Style Chicken Wings: Ingredients
- Chicken wings
- Spicy Korean chilli sauce
- Sesame seeds
- Soy sauce
- Garlic
- Chilli powder
- Coriander
Dice the garlic as fine as you can. You want to add a little salt to it as you are chopping, and try to make it form into a smooth paste.
Combine the chilli and soy sauces.
Add the minced garlic.
Add in the chilli powder. Be generous with this, as you want the wings to have a nice kick to balance the sweetness!
Add the wings to the marinade and leave them there for 10 minutes, while tossing them occasionally to make sure they are evenly coated.
Place the wings on a tray covered in foil and cover with the excess sauce. Pop them in the oven at 180C/360F, where they will take 20-25 minutes to cook. Toss them around halfway through.
When they come out of the oven they should be golden brown. Pop them in a bowl and season with salt and cracked back pepper.
Add the chopped coriander…
Finish by adding the sesame seeds and tossing everything together until evenly covered.
The wings should be sticky, spicy and slightly sweet. Be prepared to get your hands dirty as you lick these beauties clean…
