Bangkok’s culinary establishments constantly feed the city with new dishes, new menus, new dining concepts, and bold pop-ups to keep us food buffs energised and excited. Here’s what’s new in the Bangkok dining scene that will sure enliven your appetite in no time.

The festive season doesn’t end until Punjab Grill says so. Curated by Chef Bharath S.Bhat, the Festive Menu (THB 1,499++) is where traditional Indian fare comes imbued with tastes and twists from international cuisines. Tried and tested, there was not a single dish from the tasting menu we disliked. The Chipotle Jheenga, which is tiger prawn marinated in a smoked chipotle mixture, was superbly spiced, and the Kasturi Murgh Tikka was the kind of dish that really stays on your mind after the meal has passed. One thing not to miss also is the coconut rice pudding, or Nariyal Kheer, which caps off the meal on a pleasantly sweet note. Vegetarian options (THB 990++) are also available for the Festive Tasting Menu.

Farm-driven Thai restaurant, TAAN, within the Siam@Siam Design Hotel Bangkok is now partaking in the delivery scene with their latest service called TAAN to GO! Known for their farm-to-fork concept, discerning diners can now enjoy hyper-local, hyper-seasonal dishes by Chef Monthep “Thep” Kamonsilp whilst sheltering in. TCCF – Thailand Craft Chocolate Festival
Following the success of their first chocolate-focused event as part of the Bangkok Design Week last year, Thailand Craft Chocolate Festival will make a comeback this year with an online version, collaborating with over 30 brands of Thailand-based chocolate businesses. From 29 January-3 February, chocolate connoisseurs get ready to join various workshops hosted by leading chocolate brands via Facebook Live.
