Ukrainians Suffer Fuel Shortages After Russian Strikes
DIDOVYCHI, Ukraine—Ukrainians faced fuel shortages and rising prices following recent Russian missile strikes on oil refineries and storage depots in the country, with officials pledging to resolve the crisis through new contracts from Western Europe.
“The occupiers are deliberately destroying the infrastructure for the production, supply and storage of fuel,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Friday night. “Russia has also blocked our ports, so there are no immediate solutions to replenish the deficit.”
