From Ascot to the Amalfi Coast, Oliver Brown’s SS22 collection is a menswear mecca of sartorial style
The official top hat outfitter of Royal Ascot since 2017, Oliver Brown is the ideal choice for racetrack ensembles. Modern riffs elevate the masterfully crafted tailoring making the perfect silhouette for the debonair gent. Ripe for the Royal Enclosure, Oliver Brown’s wide range of Ascot-ready tailoring celebrates the house’s rich heritage while remaining steadily on trend.
But for SS22, it’s not just the annual event that Oliver Brown caters to, as the label’s loyal customers will attest. Robson’s discerning taste for classic shapes in rich hues has landed him a cult-like following of impeccably dressed men including the Marquess of Blandford, Freddie Knatchbull and Lord Brockett.
The new collection boasts three lines (casual, urban and morning wear) and takes its cues from a range of different inspirations. Warm neutral tones paired with vivid blues evoke the calm of a desert oasis, darker shades breathe the buzz of London’s nightlife into party-ready pieces, while burnt reds and forest greens bring a bohemian luxury feel to the line.
‘As with any other Oliver Brown collection, we valued the heritage and traditions of the brand. We worked with linens made in the UK and Ireland, English mills and with high end cloth suppliers in Europe. This season we started to push some boundaries in morning wear and dinner wear, and we are very excited to have feedback from our customers. We have also introduced some new items on our casual line that we intend to make part of the Oliver Brown signature,’ said designer Juliana Poslednik.
