Cofoco Restaurants

Parent company Cofoco owns a total of 17 restaurants with several in Vesterbro, so should you wish to explore the area you can find a variety of choices all in the family. It all started at Restaurant Cofoco, rustic and elegant, simple, and complex, Danish ingredients prepared in a way to make the ingredients shine their brightest.

Høst is the Danish word for harvest. As the name reveals, great Nordic ingredients and seasonal greens sets the agenda at Høst—served with a sense of both the rustic and the elegant, and always with big flavours.

In Sankt Peders Stræde in the middle of Copenhagen’s old Latin quarter, you will find Vækst. Gastronomically, Vækst is based on fresh Nordic vegetables and herbs but we still enjoy a great steak, seafood, and fresh fish.

Delphine (directly a cross from Coco hotel) brings the food and atmosphere of the Greek archipelago and southern Italy to the heart of Vesterbro. the restaurant’s extensive menu offers a varied selection of seafood meats and green dishes. whole fish and shellfish are prepared on the large Parilla grill. *Breakfast is also served for guests of Coco at Delphine, directly across the street from the hotel*

From locals drinking a glass of wine at the cosy tables on the walkway of Værnedamsvej to the beautiful checkered floor and the quintessential French menu inside, Les Trois Cochons is like visiting Paris for just a little while. On the plate, you’ll find great French produce and specialities combined with the kitchen’s flair for classic cooking.

Sea meets land in Nørrebro’s ultimate neighbourhood restaurant Oysters & Grill. Dive into our oyster menu, shelled prawns, the many different kinds of clams, langoustines, squid, ceviche, steak tartare or well-cooked meat. Add cocktails and lots of champagne and you’re in for at great evening.

Spuntino is like gathering the family or a group of great friends at a table in an Italian backyard on a warm summer evening. Underneath the greenery and beautiful lights, you are served plenty of organic and local produce, prepared the classic Italian way and served family-style on platters. Feast on local vegetables, air-dried ham from a small town outside Parma, our own freshly made linguine, and organic beef. Simple, cosy, and informal.

The bright basement restaurant in the heart of Vesterbro is where it all began in 2004, and Restaurant Cofoco is still one of a kind in our palette of dining options. Both the food and the decor is full of contrasts; the rustic and the elegant, the simple and the complex. They start with great Danish ingredients and prepare them in the way they shine brightest; in Danish, sometimes Mediterranean, and at other times with inspiration from far corners of the globe.

Scarpetta Rantzausgade and Scarpetta Islands Brygge are both modern and authentic restaurants. That means they base their dishes on classic Italian tastes and we are always looking for Italian ingredients that represent the sides of Italy that most Copenhageners may not know.

Jah Izakaya & Sake Bar wants to expand the culinary horizon in Copenhagen to also include genuine Japanese izakaya cuisine. Jah Izakaya & Sake Bar is also Copenhagen’s first real sake bar, with a wide selection of both classic sake, as well as the wilder and unfiltered “natural sake”.

Llama is among the first restaurants in the region to draw on the flavours of the Latin American continent. Inspired by Peru, Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Chile, and, moving a bit to the north, Mexico, the menu features ceviches, anticuchos, Uruguayan-style meats, tacos, and a list of South American spirits. But Llama is without question rooted in the Nordic region and aims to thoughtfully and sensibly marry the South American inspiration with Scandinavian products and recipes.

Llama After Hours every Friday and Saturday from 10.00 PM to 12.00 AM with DJ and dancing at Copenhagen’s best cocktail bar.

When the Italians sit down at an osteria they expect a quick, honest, and simple meal made from local produce served alongside a carafe of good wine. It’s the same at Vespa, our cosy and warm osteria in the middle of old Copenhagen. Menus are short, food is served on platters and in small bowls for sharing.

At Corsa they bake sourdough pizzas with a focus on the best organic ingredients from Italy and Denmark. Take them with you or eat within. They also have a large selection of antipasti in several of the restaurants, so you can linger and enjoy a good glass of wine with your meal for a longer time. (4 locations)

With its green courtyard and relaxed atmosphere, Café Coco, at Coco Hotel offers an attractive and chic oasis in the heart of Vesterbro. Café Coco serves croissants and freshly brewed quality organic coffee and tea in the morning, light dishes and snacks from dinner and selected organic and natural wines, beers, drinks and cocktails.

“Coco was created with the belief that great hospitality can be beautiful, affordable and sustainable. With this opening, Cofoco steps out of the dining room to fill a gap in the Copenhagen hotel market,” says Christian Lytje.
